As General Practitioner (GP) I serve as a primary point of contact for individuals seeking medical care, and offer comprehensive health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of conditions. GPs also play a crucial role in preventive care, health education, and coordination of patient care across different medical specialties when needed. My dispensary cater for most acute and chronic illnesses.

My main role as an Occupational Medical Practitioner is to ensure the health and well-being of individuals within the workplace. This involves assessing and managing the impact of work-related factors on health, conducting pre-employment medical assessments, fitness to work medicals, injury on duty medicals, providing advice on workplace accommodations, and addressing occupational health hazards to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Audiograms and Spirometry is being done in the practice. Radiology for CXR is walking distance from my practice.

I am a qualified Dive Medical Practitioner Level 2, also known as an Operational Support Dive doctor, and assess and manage the health of individuals engaged in diving activities. This includes conducting dive medical examinations, evaluating fitness for diving, providing guidance on dive-related health risks, and managing dive-related injuries or illnesses to ensure the safety and well-being of divers. I also assist with Diving Emergency Support as DAN hotline Doctor on call.

As a member of the Travel Doctor team, my role involves delivering expert travel health services tailored to your journeys. I specialise in administering Yellow Fever and travel vaccines, along with various other travel health services. My practice is affiliated with Travel Doctor as their Cape Town Clinic, and I am presently the sole registered doctor in Cape Town authorized to conduct Dive Medical Examinations.

I am a registered SAMSA (South African Maritime Safety Authority) Seafarers Examiner, which involves conducting examinations and assessments to ensure that seafarers meet the required standards for maritime safety and competence. This includes evaluating the knowledge, skills, and medical fitness of individuals seeking certification for various maritime positions. The SAMSA Seafarers Examiner plays a crucial role in upholding and promoting safety standards within the maritime industry by certifying competent and capable seafarers.

I am a certified Asthma educator who successfully completed the National Asthma Education Programme in November 2021. With this qualification, I am confidently equipped to provide comprehensive Asthma education. Expanding my service capabilities further, I acquired a medication dispensing license in October 2018.
